I first heard about the Cardigans on the old alt.swedish-pop newsletter. I just happened to be in Sweden in the summer of 1995 and picked up the Carnival single at a CD store in Katrineholm, Sweden. I was hooked! On our way back to Malmö, I picked up the Life album in Jönkôping, Sweden. I saw that the Cardigans would be playing a festival in Malmö so hurried as fast as we could, but ended up missing seeing them perform by about 10 minutes!
Since that time I’ve seen the Cardigans perform in Providence Rhode Island in February 1997, Dallas Texas in May 1997, Roskilde Festival July 2003, Malmö Sweden Oct 2003, and Las Vegas Nevada June 2004.
