Slant Magazine did an article on the top 100 albums of the decade. The Cardigans “Long Gone Before Daylight” came in at number 80.
The subdued music, almost country, puts Persson’s potent heartache front-stage, where it belongs.

Nina discussed the challenges of trying to be funny in America.
Katy Perry wants the new album to sound like The Cardigans “Lovefool” and Ace of Base “Signs”. So says MTV News.
She then backed off a little bit saying that it was “roller skate music”.
I highly doubt that we’ll be hearing from Katy Perry 16 years from now. Enjoy your 10 minutes of fame.
