Meet the fans – the first interview

Hello everyone, sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted any updates. I decided that I wanted to start concentrating on some of the fans that have been instrumental in spreading the word about the Cardigans around the world.

The fans of the Cardigans come from all over the world, and not just from Sweden.

The first interview is from Dale aka Bac. I’ve known Bac from a long, long time since the early days of the Cardigans explosion in the US. Back in those days we would trade by VHS tapes through our network.

Early Cardigans recordings

There are some demo songs hanging out there from the Cardigans very early days.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on 3 of them. (simon says / celebration / fine (demo))

It appears that more of them have made it onto bootlegged EPs called “The Pursuit of Pooh” and “The World According To”.

Japanese Best of the Cardigans CD

Well, as luck would have it, I was going to Tokyo, Japan for business.  

I hadn’t yet ordered the Cardigans best of CD yet, instead waiting for it come out in the USA.  

In any case, I had heard that the Japan version included a CD insert with all the lyrics from all of the songs included on the disk.  I decided to fork over the 3800 yen to purchase the CD.  

As you can see from the picture,  it comes with two discs, plus two inserts.  One with the liner notes, and the other with lyrics to all of the songs.  The complete track listing of both discs is:
